A Colombian woman in Spain shared what she likes most about living in the Iberian country: "If you're bored here, it's because you want to be."

Laura Vargas is a Colombian who has lived in Spain for four years. Through her social media, she shares the things that have most impacted her about the Iberian country. In one of her latest posts, she revealed what she likes most about living there.

“What I love most about Madrid is that you can do anything here at any time. I mean, you can go to the gym here in the morning—well, not as early as in Colombia. They open at around 5:00 a.m. and there are group classes and everything, because the pace of life starts earlier and ends much earlier, ” Vargas explained.
Latin culture is different from European culture, and although these cultural changes can be somewhat drastic, for this Colombian, it's different because she feels she has more time to do more things in Spain, including spending time with her friends.
“I love that you can go to the gym here in the morning; they open around 7:00 a.m., and if your work schedule is around 10:00 a.m. and you still have time, it all depends on you, but you have many options to go whenever you can, ” he added.

Additionally, something that has caught her attention, apart from the schedule, since for Spaniards at 3:00 p.m. they still say good morning, are the different plans that can be made during the day, even if the person is working.
“I love that you always have plans to make with people, from the morning to breakfast, lunch, dinner. I don't know, it's just that there are always plans, things to do, there's a different plan at any time ,” she said.
This content creator, who has two young children, revealed that in Madrid, people can go on different outings that suit their budget, since there are free places to go.
"Here, you can meditate, go to the gym, get relaxing massages, or see friends at any time. I mean, it seems to me that it gives you a lot of options, and if you're bored here, it's because you want to be. Even if you don't have money, there are things to do because they're free," he said.

There are many reasons why the Colombian woman is happy living in Spain, and although she's aware that the city has room for improvement, moving there was the right decision for her.
“I think it's an inclusive city, and I love that. Obviously, I can say that from my perspective, where I lived differently, but I find Madrid fascinating ,” he concluded.
